Senator Randal Paul


We knew that Rand Paul grew up in Lake Jackson, Texas where he attended Baylor University. He is the son of Ron Paul, who was a three-time Republican presidential candidate and former member of the U.S House of Representatives. After graduating from Duke Medical School in 1988, and completing a general surgery internship at Georgia Baptist Medical Center, he completed his residency in ophthalmology at Duke University Medical Center. Paul has received several accolades from Lions Clubs International and The Twilight Wish Foundation for his generosity in providing visionary care to the less fortunate and senior citizens. In his free time, he conducts free surgeries for patients in Kentucky and for children around the world through the Children of the Americas Program. Paul lives in Bowling Green, Kentucky, with his wife Kelley and three sons William, Duncan, and Robert. After working as an ophthalmologist for 18 years, Paul was elected into the U.S Senate in 2010 and advocates for liberty and limited government.
